I am looking forward to uMabhengwane’s translation of the tricky-but-important Greek phrase usually translated into English as the “wine-dark sea”.
From what I can remember it is about a wine-coloured face or eye. I would guess that “iwayini” won’t be in this translation at all. -mdaka and -mdokwe could both be reddish and darkish I suppose.
