This is a cool reference list — thanks. It has just been pasted into my isiZulu notebook.
This reminds me of last week when I learned more about one of my favourite isiZulu phrases: “Bangabangani bami” What’s not to love about a phrase that starts with two bangs? It is explosive and feels great to say. Plus you can only say it in front of your friends!
The next step I need to take is to use ‘lona’ and ‘laba’ along with the initial ‘ngabangani bami’ or ‘ngugogo’. I will give the test a go tomorrow. Cheers!
